Tag Voice Memos with MP3 Keywords
Add custom tags to your voice memos that allow you to title and organize them in iTunes, or find
them via Spotlight (OS X version 10.4 or later). Before recording, enter keywords, or
metadata
,
in the Voice Memo panel.

Open the Voice Memo panel, either using the Voice Memo tool or Tools > Record
Voice Memo command, or from the Voice Memo section of the Create Hyperlink
panel (by clicking the Voice Memo Panel button).

In the Voice Memo panel, check the MP3 Metadata box, and enter additional
information about the recording in the tray that opens.

Record podcasts with NoteTaker and tag them with metadata that will identify them when played from a
podcast player (such as iPodder or iTunes). See "NoteTaker and Podcasting" on page 159.
Add you own genres to the Genres menu by adding them, one per line, to a plain text filed called
genres.txt, that's in the ~/Library/Application Support/Aquaminds/NoteTaker/ folder (in your home folder).
Check this option in the Voice Memo panel to
display metadata information below
Enter information that identifies the recording
when opened in iTunes, or can be used to locate
the recording via a Spotlight search. It applies for
all subsequent recordings, until you change it
Set the slider so the resulting recording will be in
the mp3 format (not too high or low)
